Trying to have a green thumb.

I love plants and flowers, but I am not always successful in keeping them alive for long. Well, I am not sure that it is me. I can keep a plant alive as long as we are living in one place. Every time we move it seems like most of my plants die soon after. Maybe moving is too stressful for them. In any case, we are planning to live here for a while, so I am building up the amount of plants I have. For a long time I have wanted an orchid, but I have always heard that they are hard to keep happy. So I took a risk and bought one any ways. It seems to like our house so far. Two buds have bloomed in the last few days. I am keep my fingers crossed. I do want to have a green thumb.
