The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest

This is the first book that I have read in 2011!!! 1 down 18 more to go.
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's nest was a great end to the trilogy! I really enjoyed these books. I find myself missing Lisbeth Salander and wonder what she is doing right now. When I read a book it becomes so much of my life and when I read three books in a row with the same people I become attached.
I recommend all three of these books. The first was my favorite, but I think the third beats it. This book brings all the books together.

Our trip

Michael and I just came back from a 10 day trip. We had a basic outline of where we wanted to go and that we were going by train, but everything else was spontaneous. Here is some pictures from our trip.

This is me on the train from Tucson to LA.

Here is Michael in the observatory car on the train.

This is Union Station in LA.

This is the hotel room we stayed at for 3 nights in San Francisco.

This is Chinatown in San Francisco.

This is the Ferry Building in San Francisco.

There was even some ice skating.

Some famous San Francisco steep streets that we did climb, a lot.

Boat Sushi!

More of Chinatown.

This is the lobby of our hotel.

This is in Sacramento along the river. We were here for 2 nights.

On the train from Sacramento to Anaheim. We did a lot of reading on this trip.

We spent the last 3 nights in Disneyland!

Over all we had a great trip, but as always it is even better to be back home!

The Girl Who Played With Fire

I am writing this a little late because I have been on vacation and I will post those pictures soon.
The Girl Who Played With Fire was the last book I finished in 2010, I actually finished it on New Year's Eve on a train to San Francisco. This makes the grand totally of books read in 2010 to be . . . . 18! I far pasted what I had read in 2009, which makes me so happy that I actually completed my New Year's resolution last year. My New Year's resolution for this year is the same thing, to read more books this year than the previous year. This may get really hard since school is getting more demanding of my time.
Enough with that, The Girl Who Played With Fire was the second in a series that I really enjoy. I liked the first book so far the best, The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo, but this book is not a let down. I have started to read the third book which the second one follows really nicely into.
