The kitten still doesn't have a name for sure, but he is settling in quite nicely. He is only 5 weeks old, so he is still drinking formula. He is so adventurous and playful, but he is also really loving and likes to cuddle. Our other animals are doing really well with the addition. There will be more pictures to come.

Tuesdays with Morrie
This book was recommended to me by a coworker a while ago. Almost every book I read was recommended by someone, this allows me to have someone to talk to about it when I am done reading. I don't feel like I am fully done with a book until I talk about it. Michael is amazing about this, he lets me talk through each book when I read it. He asks questions and we discuss.
I am not sure why it took me so long to pick this book up, but once I did I had to force myself to put it down.
This book is a true story about a professor who is dying and his student. The professor teaches life lessons until the end, every Tuesday. It is a sad and inspiring book. It's a quick read and I defiantly recommend this one.

Ape House
Ape House was written by the same author as Water for Elephants, Sara Gruen. I really enjoyed Water for Elephants and I really enjoyed Ape House as well. From reading Sara Gruen's books I can tell that she deeply loves animals, it seeps out of every page. This book is about six apes and a women who does everything she can to save them and a reporter who helps her.
On a side note I just watched the movie Water for Elephants and was pleasantly surprised. I normal have a hard time watching book to movie movies, but once I got past the fact that the actors are not at all what I pictured when I read the book, it was quite enjoyable. Of course, I cried at least five times while watching it.
Lake Powell
Recently we went to Lake Powell with Michael's family. We had a good time. Unfortunately our camera broke early on the second day, so I didn't get very many pictures. Here are some that I did get.
It was the first time that Simon swam and we weren't sure that he was going to be able to. I had read somewhere that corgis can't swim, but I am happy to report that isn't so.
